“Afton Clubhouse was great! — Very nice, clean and well equipped. We loved the hot tub and that our dog was welcome. The primary bedroom did back to a busy road but there was a sound machine provided that helped with the road noise.”

NOTE: This home is located right next to our Afton Farmhouse rental, which comfortably sleeps 9. The units do share a driveway, but there is room for 3 cars in front of this property. If you plan to use the fire pit, please be sure to make plans to purchase firewood. We do not always have firewood by our fire pits.

“What is seen in the pictures is only the beginning of the experience. — Wonderful facility with bright open spaces. The kitchen is bewildering in its size and is completely outfitted with every conceivable appliance that one would need. We had rented the property as it would allow us to throw our daughter a 16th birthday party which most rental properties forbid. The available activities ranged the gambit from shuffle board to ping-pong and foosball. We would rent the house again even if we do not plan on hosting an event.”

“perfect Nelson Co. home base for small group — During our 4-night stay we managed to use all the amenities of Afton Clubhouse: the hot tub, the grill, the fire pit and patio area, the front porch, the games, the (fully stocked) kitchen, and of course the perfect location to access all that Nelson County has to offer! The only note we would make is that there were mixed signals (confirmation email vs. website, etc) on whether we were allowed to bring our dog, so we ended up leaving him with a sitter when he could have joined us after all.”
